Viewics Corporation

I was the second employee at Viewics, and worked there until the company lost its funding in the dot com survivor tales of 2001. In my tenure as "Master of the Digital Domain" (IT Director) for Viewics Corporation, I was the sole technical designer, developer, implementer, and maintainer of its web site. This web site, based on Cold Fusion, ASP, and a SQL Server back-end, boasts a comprehensive custom-built e-commerce solution, customer account management, software distribution, software licensing, and incredible statistics. I also implemented a maintenance area which enabled all authorized parties to add new product lines, discount software bundles, manage customer licenses, and extract even more statistics and reports. I designed and implemented a complicated video greetings delivery mechanism that supported multiple video formats, delivered notifications, seamlessly negotiated between multiple destination servers, incorporated partner branding, generated specialized statistics, and automatically maintained disk storage consumed by the video greetings and auxiliary functions.
